A perfect ride to get started on Colombian cycling. We\u2019ll stop for a coffee and then continue back to our hotel following a flowy descent. We\u2019ll have lunch in a cool restaurant on the way and then the chance to visit the city or Armenia and down again to reach our hotel. We\u2019ll stop on each town to taste their snacks, have a great lunch and get an introduction to their architecture, people and highlights. We\u2019ll arrive at our next hotel with breathtaking views and complete cycling environment you\u2019ll love. It will be initially climbing and passing through the town of Filandia. We will then leave our bikes for a couple of hours to jump into a jeep and then do a short hike in the amazing Cocora Valley. We\u2019ll have lunch and head back to the hotel pedaling through a different route. On the way down we\u2019ll get a look at the Cauca River Valley, a fertile land home to sugar cane plantations. We\u2019ll get to see the process of making panela and then head on to Cerritos and Pereira reaching our hotel in the foot of the mountains. A few miles up ahead we\u2019ll reach our final hotel destination in the Hot Springs of Santa Rosa amidst waterfalls and cloud forests. The perfect location to get into relax mode after all the pedaling along with a massage.
